HUNGER Publishing

After more than a decade as one of the UK’s leading independent fashion titles, HUNGER faced a new challenge: how does a print publication evolve in an era where culture moves across multiple platforms? The brand’s original mission “For the visually and culturally hungry” had become less prominent, creating an opportunity to redefine HUNGER beyond fashion and rebuild it as a wider cultural voice.

The strategy centred on returning HUNGER’s founding statement into its creative manifesto. Fashion remained at the core, but the editorial universe expanded across music, film, beauty, technology, and cultural commentary.

The magazine moved from biannual to quarterly, strengthened relationships with global talent, artists, agents and brands, launched a year-round events programme with partners including Abbey Road, Johnnie Walker, MCM and W London, and developed seven new titles under the HUNGER umbrella. Alongside publishing, HUNGER expanded into books, branded storytelling and white-label creative partnerships.
